The Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra serves as the Greater Massapequa, Nassau and Suffolk community's orchestra, providing a series of free concerts featuring world-class soloists for over 33 years--an unprecedented achievement on Long Island.  In partnership with the Massapequa Public Schools, the Massapequa Philharmonic features world-class soloists and repertoire spanning important masterworks to lighter pops repertoire.  The series of free concerts includes serious Masterworks Concerts, a Holiday Concert and a Family Concert designed to engage Families new to classical music.  Massapequa Philharmonic performances are made possible by the generous support of the Decentralization Program, a regent program of the NY State Council administered by the Huntington Arts Council, the Town of Oyster Bay Arts Council, the Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation and individual donations from the Massapequa Community.
